HARARE - Zimbabwe Independent editor Faith Zaba is free after days in jail.
Her crime? Allegedly insulting President Emmerson Mnangagwa in a satirical column that branded him the "Head of a Mafia State."
Harare Magistrate Douglas Vakai Chikwekwe granted Zaba US$200 bail with strict reporting conditions.
Journalist Blessed Mhlanga who has recently also spent weeks in jail for his work, says the crackdown on journalists is a major concern.
Zaba will be back in court on 29 July.
