
HARARE - Zimbabwe's main opposition says it has been barred from campaigning ahead of the elections.
Campaigners say they were going door-to-door in Harare when riot police arrived and told them to disperse.
They say this is a deliberate attempt to thwart efforts to break Zanu-PF's 43-year grip on power.

Zimbabweans head to the polls on 23 August.
Twelve candidates are contesting for the Presidency.
The frontrunners are incumbent Emmerson Mnangagwa and Citizens Coalition for Change leader, Nelson Chamisa.
