HARARE - Citizens Coalition for Change leader Nelson Chamisa says the blood of his murdered party member Tapfumaneyi Masaya has not been spilled in vain.
Masaya, a pastor, was on the campaign trail in Mabvuku last week when he was abducted and tortured to death by unknown assailants, believed to be state agents.
He was buried on Saturday.
Masaya’s family says they’re in a state of shock.
Police said they’re investigating who was behind Masaya’s death.
Mabvuku constituency in Harare is one of the nine parliamentary by-elections being held in Zimbabwe on 9 December.
