MTHATHA - Former President Jacob Zuma has ignored the leadership turmoil in his own party to take more swipes at the organisation he once led.
Zuma was in the ANC stronghold of Mthatha in the Eastern Cape to drum up support for the MK Party ahead of the November polls.
He may no longer be the country's number one citizen, but Jacob Zuma remains popular among the people of the Eastern Cape.
The former president has promised congregants at the Bridge to Heaven Christian Fellowship Church in Mthatha that a vote for the MK Party would end their suffering.
But while the MK Party head aimed his dagger at his former allies, questions have been raised about political instability within his own party.
The leadership merry-go-round in the country’s third biggest political movement continues to turn.
