JOHANNESBURG - Former president, Jacob Zuma is unwell and in Russia to seek medical assistance as the Constitutional Court made a ruling that the former president should go back to prison to finish the rest of his 15-month sentence.
Zuma was jailed in 2021 for contempt of the Constitutional Court.
This after he refused to obey an order to appear before the Zondo Commission.
Jacob Zuma Foundation spokesperson, Mzwanele Manyi has confirmed to the media that Zuma flew to Moscow on Monday.
The apex court says the application for leave to appeal Zuma’s medical parole has no prospects of success.
