JOHANNESBURG - The African Transformation Movement has picked Vuyo Zungula as its mayoral candidate for Johannesburg.
He founded the party in 2018 and served as its president until June last year.
Zungula currently serves as one of the party's two MPs in the National Assembly.
The party also announced Mncedi Ndzwanana as its candidate for Tshwane and Velaphi Ndaba for the City of Ekurhuleni.
Various political parties are now ramping up their campaigns ahead of the November 4 local government elections.
