KWAMASHU - ActionSA President Herman Mashaba pledges consistency as he urges eThekwini residents to back the party in November’s local government elections.
He told voters they can expect the same governance ActionSA delivers in Tshwane.
He spoke in KwaZulu-Natal as ActionSA unveiled its mayoral candidates.
"We are appealing to people of eThekwini, if they want to see the kind of governance that we are experiencing in the City of Tshwane under Dr. Nasipi Moya, that's what they will get,” Mashaba said.
ActionSA has positioned itself as the alternative to corruption, political patronage and unfulfilled promises.
Tshwane Mayor Nasiphi Moya said ActionSA is ready to govern eThekwini Municipality.
The party has announced its mayoral candidates for eThekwini, KwaDukuza, and Newcastle ahead of the local government elections.
“Today is about declaring that ACTIONSA is ready to govern,” she said.
Mashaba named Zwakele Mncwango as the party’s mayoral candidate in eThekwini.
Mncwango will spearhead ActionSA’s campaign in the metro ahead of November’s elections.
The party joins a crowded field as parties intensify their campaigns for eThekwini.
