2024 elections | ANC may lose majority

JOHANNESBURG - With the 29 May polls fast approaching, political analysts predict the governing party will likely face defeat notwithstanding its intense campaigning efforts.  

Despite the party's focus on past achievements, the realities on the ground, including the demand for sustainable jobs and basic services, suggest a shift in voter sentiment.  

What are the shortcomings of the ruling party’s current strategy and the dissatisfaction among the youth?
