JOHANNESBURG - The electoral court ruled on Tuesday that former president Jacob Zuma can run for office as part of the uMkhonto we Sizwe Party.
The Independent Electoral Commission has ruled him out due to his criminal record of being in contempt of court.

The Section bars individuals convicted and sentenced to more than twelve months in jail, from holding public office.
