Concern over little representation of people with disabilities in the workplace

JOHANNESBURG - The National Council of and for Persons with Disabilities worries that people living with disabilities are not adequately represented in the workplace. 

It says less than 2% of government employees are people with disabilities.

Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities Minister Sindisiwe Chikunga revealed that people living with disabilities make up 0,95% of the public sector workforce, and 1,2% of the private sector workforce.

The council's Lubabalo Mbeki had a discussion with eNCA's Dan Moyane on this topic.
