DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal Police have provided an update on investigations relating to Stuart Scharnick's criminal record and firearm licence.

Scharnick is an associate of suspended Deputy Commissioner for Crime Detection, Shadrack Sibiya.
KZN police handled some of Scharnick's cases.
