POLOKWANE - The ANC has managed to defend its ground in two crucial by-elections, holding onto wards in Limpopo and Mpumalanga.
In Ward 14, Embalenhle, in the Govan Mbeki Municipality, the party fended off a strong challenge from the DA.
Meanwhile, in Ward 37, Mphanama, in Fetakgomo Tubatse, the ANC secured a decisive win, cementing its dominance in the Sekhukhune region.
