JOHANNESBURG - Tourism Minister, Patricia de Lille, is under pressure after dissolving a second SA Tourism Board.

She claims it is because the SA Tourism Board held a meeting on 1 August that was irregular because it was convened without a chair.

A former member of the board – Oupa Pilane – says the truth is stark that there was no such meeting.

He says that board members were about to investigate the CEO, Nombulelo Guliwe, for misconduct and the board was dissolved to obstruct this probe.

OUTA said this is political interference but De Lille says it’s about good governance.
