JOHANNESBURG - Media houses, News24 and Daily Maverick have lodged an application to have witness testimony at the Madlanga Commission heard openly.

Evidence leaders from the commission lodged an application for upcoming testimony to be held in camera.
They say it includes sensitive information related to covert police operations and, therefore, cannot be made public
The commission adjourned while the application is considered.
