JOHANNESBURG - It has been 10 years since the Fees Must Fall student protests.
One of the things students called for was funding for the so-called missing middle.
That is, people who couldn't afford university fees but also didn't qualify for government assistance.
Universities South Africa came up with a financial scheme to cater for these students.
So is the missing middle doing better now?
