GBV Epidemic | New bill won't eradicate GBV overnight

JOHANNESBURG - The University of Fort Hare's GBV Prevention Unit has questioned the effectiveness of the National Council on GBV and Femicide Bill.

President Cyril  Ramaphosa signed the measure on Friday.

He says the bill aims to strategically lead and coordinate the fight against gender-based violence and femicide, particularly against women and children.
