Global Plastics Summit | Nations look for ways to reduce plastic waste

GENEVA, SWITZERLAND - World leaders have been meeting in Geneva in Swizerland to discuss a treaty meant to deal with plastic waste. 

Plastic waste is already being found deep in the oceans and in our bodies. And plastic waste is projected to triple by 2060.

At the same time government is proposing a law to ban the import and export and manufacturing of microplastics in South Africa.

Lead for the Pan-African Plastics Project at Greenpeace, Hellen Kahaso Dena had a discussion with eNCA.
