JOHANNESBURG - The alleged assault of a grandmother by her grandson has sent shockwaves through the country.
Luvo Ngqaza appeared in the Kuils River Magistrate's Court on Friday. He's been charged with assault after a video went viral of him hitting his 82-year-old grandmother.
Social groups and NGOs have condemned the incident, calling for harsh punishment.
