Public Interest SA welcomes whistleblower bill

JOHANNESBURG - Public Interest SA has welcomed President Cyril  Ramaphosa’s commitment to introducing the Whistleblower Protection Bill during the 7th Parliament.

The organisation's Tebogo Khaas says this marks a crucial step toward strengthening protections for whistle-blowers and fostering a more accountable and transparent society.

President Cyril  Ramaphosa made this announcement during his State of The Nation Address.

Khaas urged parliament to prioritise the Bill and ensure its swift processing to create a legal framework that supports and protects whistleblowers.
