JOHANNESBURG - Burnout is an undeniable reality.
The latest Gallup report reveals that a significant 36 percent of the South African workforce faces excessive daily stress.
It says over 71 percent are either disengaged or actively disengaged at work.
Professor Renata Schoeman, Head of Healthcare Leadership at Stellenbosch Business School, emphasises that burnout is a workplace phenomenon that is distinct from the daily stresses of personal life responsibilities.
