Trade union slams College of Nursing over registration delays

JOHANNESBURG - The Young Nurses Indaba Trade Union has slammed the Gauteng College of Nursing, for its failure to register newly qualified nurses the council.

The union says this blocks them from working. It insists those responsible for the delay must be held accountable.

The union is calling on the Gauteng Health Department, to freeze the posts until the new nurses are registered.
