DURBAN - Bafana Bafana drew 1-1 with Panama in an international friendly at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban.
Oswin Appollis netted a second half equaliser for South Africa after Panama had stunned the home crowd by opening the scoring in the 11th minute through Edgar Bárcenas.
The home side wasted decent opportunities in the match as they failed to punish the visitors.
Hugo Broos' side will face Panama again at the DHL Stadium in Cape Town on Tuesday.
The two matches serve as preparation for both sides ahead of the FIFA World Cup starting in June.
