JOHANNESBURG - Eben Etzebeth is set to learn his fate on Tuesday afternoon.
The Springbok lock will appear before a disciplinary committee following the red card he received for an alleged eye gouge.
The incident took place during last Saturday’s 73-0 drubbing of Wales in Cardiff.
Etzebeth got involved in a scuffle after coming on as a replacement.
The Television Match Official showed replays of the 34-year-old making contact with the eyes of Alex Mann.
If found guilty of eye gouging, Etzebeth will be banned from rugby from anything between four to 12 weeks.
