JOHANNESBURG - The Springboks have been given a boost ahead of their Ireland clash, with lock Franco Mostert cleared to play.
Mostert’s red card from the Italy clash has been rescinded.
It has been downgraded to a yellow card, and the Bok lock is available for selection for the Ireland match at Aviva Stadium, this Saturday.
According to reports, the Boks have also appealed the four-match ban for another lock, Lood de Jager.
He was cited for a dangerous tackle on France full-back Thomas Ramos earlier this month.
