JOHANNESBURG - Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie has confirmed that Bafana Bafana will leave for the Fifa World Cup on a special chartered flight on Monday.
He says all players have received their visa's to travel to the showpiece.
The national side's World Cup preparations was thrown into disarray after their departure to Mexico was delayed by visa issues.
Several players and officials couldn’t travel as planned, forcing the squad to stay in Johannesburg just days before the tournament.
McKenzie has slammed Safa, calling the situation embarrassing. He said it was unfair on the players, demanding accountability from the governing body.
Sentiments also echoed by his deputy, Peace Mabe.
