KZN police tighten security for Nedbank Cup final

DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal police have issued a strong warning to those who want to incite violence at this weekend’s Nedbank Cup final between the same teams.

There are once again major safety concerns ahead of Saturday's cup final between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

System glitches allowed fans to buy more tickets than available, resulting in 10,000 excess tickets being sold.

KZN Police Commissioner Phumelele Makhoba is confident their planning and preparations will allow fans to enjoy the game without incidents.

Fans are urged to arrive early and follow instructions.
