JOHANNESBURG - The South African Football Players Union has called for an investigation into the Soweto Derby scuffle.
Backroom staff of both clubs were embroiled in a fight during the two sides' pre-match warm-up at FNB Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Chiefs co-coach Khalil Ben Youssef accused the Buccaneers of starting the fight by coming to their side of the field.
SAFPU has called the incident regrettable and unacceptable and demands a full and credible investigation.
The encounter ended in a stalemate.
