POLOKWANE - 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers are underway and South Africa have a date with Lesotho at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane tomorrow, before heading to Cote de Ivoire to face Benin.
Bafana are tied on seven points with Rwanda, who they lost to last year, and Benin.
The last time South Africa qualified for the FIFA World Cup was in 2002.
Its participation in 2010 was on account of the spectacle being hosted in the country.
eNCA reporter Ntsako Mkhari discussed this with sports reporter Njabulo Ngidi.
