Australia's Hazlewood ruled out of first Test against SA

BRISBANE - It’s five days until the first Test between the Proteas and Australia.

The Baggy Greens have been dealt a massive blow ahead of the game.

Australian fast bowler Josh Hazlewood will miss the first test due to a side strain.

It's an injury he picked up last week.

The first test takes place this Saturday at the Gabba in Brisbane followed by the traditional Boxing Day test.

Pat Cummins, who returns from injury, will come in as Hazlewood’s replacement.

Both players did not feature in the second test against West Indies.
