Banyana Banyana continue World Cup preparations at camp

JOHANNESBURG - There are just 30 days before the Fifa Women’s World Cup kicks off in Australia and New Zealand.

Banyana Banyana will make their second appearance after crashing out in the group stages in 2019 in France.

Desiree Ellis and company are currently in camp until 3 July when they head Down Under.

Ellis has roped in a 36-member squad to select her final 23.

There are also reports of a pre-world Cup warm-up against 36th-ranked Costa Rica in July.

The 54th-ranked Banyana will kick off their campaign against Sweden in Wellington before facing Argentina in their second match.

They will then round off the group stages against Italy on 2 August.
