JOHANNESBURG - Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos said the next goal is to win the Africa Cup of Nations.
This follows their historic achievement at the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.
South Africa secured their first-ever knockout-round appearance at the tournament, but crashed out at the hands of co-hosts Canada.

Bafana Bafana are drawn in Group D of the 2027 Afcon qualifiers alongside co-hosts Kenya, Eritrea and Guinea.
The qualifiers get underway in September.
Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya will co-host the tournament from the 19th of June to the 17th of July next year.
