Brown to jump Bok ship to All Blacks

JOHANNESBURG - Springbok attack guru Tony Brown is set to leave the four-time World Champions after the 2027 Rugby World Cup in Australia.

Brown has signed a two-year contract with New Zealand Rugby to join the All Blacks as assistant coach.

The former All Blacks fly-half will fall in under head coach Dave Rennie.

The 51-year-old joined SA Rugby two years ago on a four-year deal. He played a key role in shaping the Springboks’ attacking evolution.

Saru has wished Brown well and thanked the New Zealander for his commitment, loyalty and honesty.
