JOHANNESBURG - Kaizer Chiefs have parted ways with midfielder Thabo Cele.
According to a club statement, the exit is by mutual agreement.
Cele joined Amakhosi in January last year, making his debut in the Soweto Derby a month later.

During his 18 months at Naturena, the KwaMashu born-star made 36 appearances in all competitions for Chiefs.
He lifted the Nedbank Cup when Amakhosi beat arch-rivals Pirates.
As a free agent, Induna Yendawo, as Cele is affectionately known, can join a club of his choice, despite the transfer window being shut.
