Chiefs’ woes deepens after another loss

DURBAN - Things have gone from bad to worse for Kaizer Chiefs.

Fresh from a humiliating 3-0 drubbing by arch-rivals Orlando Pirates in the Soweto derby,
on Tuesday, Amakhosi slumped to yet another defeat.

This time Chiefs went down to Richards Bay courtesy of a solitary strike by Thulani Gumede.

The result is the Soweto giants' fifth defeat in the last six outings in all competitions.

They remain eleven points behind leaders Pirates with twelve matches to go before the end of the season.

For the Natal Rich Boyz, it was a much-needed victory as they chase a top eight finish.
