CHENNAI - The Proteas will edge closer to qualifying for the Cricket World Cup semi-finals should they dispatch Bangladesh.

A win will see South Africa climb above New Zealand to second spot with four round robin matches remaining.

Aiden Markram has cautioned his teammates against complacency, especially following their resounding success over England.

"We still harbour the dream of a semi-final. Other teams are helping us also, so if we can help ourselves, it can happen. We still have the chance on paper."
