DURBAN - With the 2026 FIFA World Cup still taking centre stage, clubs continue their preparations for the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season.
Durban City have announced the appointment of former Kaizer Chiefs co-coach, Khalil Youssef as head coach.
Khalil arrived in South Africa as coach to Nasreddine Nabi’s technical team in 2024.
He replaced Nabi as co-coach alongside Cedric Kaze, who’s linked with a head coach position at Sekhukhune United.
Youssef expressed his excitement at joining Durban City, saying he is looking forward to building a competitive team that reflects the values and ambitions of the club.
