Formula 1 has signed a contract extension with the Dutch Grand Prix, which will last until 2025.

AMSTERDAM - Formula 1 has signed a contract extension with the Dutch Grand Prix, which will last until 2025.

The deal adds races in 2024 and 2025 to the initial three years agreed upon with F1.

The event at Zandvoort has been a hit with fans.

Dutchman Max Verstappen's popularity has surely helped.

The world champion always gets huge support in his home race.

This has helped him to win both races at the historic track.

Another Dutch driver will join the F1 grid in 2023, with Nyck de Vries joining Williams.

The next race in the Netherlands will take place in August next year.
