George Chigova passes away aged 32

JOHANNESBURG - The South African football fraternity has been once again dealt a massive blow.

SuperSport United goalkeeper George Chigova has died.

Chigova reportedly collapsed and passed away on Wednesday.

He was previously reported to have been diagnosed with a heart ailment and took time off from the game.

The Zimbabwean international also represented Gunners Harare and Dynamos back in his home country.

He also had a stint at Polokwane City.

The 32-year-old has over 30 caps for the Warriors.
