Jantjies leaves Boks' camp

JOHANNESBURG - The Springboks have had preparations disrupted in untimely fashion.

Flyhalf Elton Jantjies has left the team's camp in Argentina, ahead of their next match.

Jantjies has been asked to return home, amid reports related to an alleged affair in his personal life.

While there has been no breach of team protocol, according to SA Rugby, Jantjies has been sent home to clear up the matter.

It's the latest in unwanted headlines for the pivot.

He was involved in a malicious damage to property court case just months ago.

Janjies was cleared when the matter was struck off the roll by the court.

As for the Boks, they take on Argentina in the Rugby Championship next weekend.
