JOHANNESBURG - Bafana Bafana coach Pitso Mosimane is hopeful Lebohang Maboe can still play some part in the upcoming AFCON qualifiers.
The Kaizer Chiefs midfielder was substituted off during his side's goalless draw with Golden Arrows over the weekend.
According to Mosimane, Maboe has a 'niggling ankle'.
"The doctor has briefed me that we should be careful with him and give him a chance...He's going for a scan which will tell us how far he is..."
