Maketa appointed interim Proteas coach
JOHANNESBURG - Malibongwe Maketa has been appointed Proteas interim coach.
Maketa will take over from Mark Boucher, who's set to leave the position after the T20 World Cup which is currently on the go in Australia.
According to CSA's statement, Boucher has decided to resign “in order to pursue other opportunities in line with his future career and personal objectives.
The former Titans coach, now in charge of the South Africa A side, will lead the Proteas in the three-test series against Australia, starting in December, through to January next year.
