Mokwana joins Chiefs on a free transfer

JOHANNESBURG - Kaizer Chiefs have completed the signing of Bafana Bafana international Elias Mokwana.

The former Sekhukhune United player returns to the country after a spell with North African giants Esperance de Tunis.

After making a name for himself with Babina Noko, Mokwana joined Esperance in 2024.

The 27-year-old won the Tunisian Super Cup in his maiden season and also represented Esperance at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

He spent the 2025/26 campaign on loan at Al Hazem, featuring 24 times in the Saudi Pro League.
