Nadal relishes Kyrgios clash

SYDNEY - Rafael Nadal is using the United Cup as preparation for the upcoming Australian Open.

The 22-time Grand Slam champion will face the likes of Nick Kyrgios and Cameron Norrie in his title defence.

Nadal begins the 2023 season at the United Cup as Spain shares Group D with Australia and Great Britain.

He faces 2022 Wimbledon semi-finalist Norrie on 31 December and two days later he meets Kyrgios.

The inaugural United Cup starts on 29 December.
