Rugby World Cup | Bok women braced for bruising battle

The Springbok Women coaches have decided to stick with the tried and tested in selecting their team for the opening match this weekend at the Rugby World Cup.

AUCKLAND - The Springbok Women coaches have decided to stick with the tried and tested in selecting their team for the opening match this weekend at the Rugby World Cup.

The South Africans are bracing themselves for a physical encounter against the fourth-ranked French side.

Coach Stanley Raubenheimer is happy with his team selection.

It boasts a total of 291 caps and he hopes they’ll acquit themselves well at the tournament.

The team understands the pressure of playing in the opening match of the tournament, but know they have a task at hand and will have to keep their focus on that.
