SABC strikes deal to broadcast Springbok World Cup games

JOHANNESBURG - The South African public has received good news ahead of the Rugby World Cup which gets underway on Friday.

This is after the SABC was granted sub-licence broadcast rights by Multichoice for Rugby World Cup.

It was initially reported that the public broadcast wouldn't be able to show the tournament on its channels following the disagreement with SuperSport over payment terms.
