PRETORIA - Sports Minister Gayton McKenzie insists South Africa did not miss out on hosting Formula 1.
Despite Rwanda getting the rights to host the African Grand Prix in the 2030s, McKenzie remains upbeat that the country is still on track to host the event in the near future.
He was addressing the media in Pretoria on Wednesday.
"We are not in competition... We as South Africans are still looking at 2028/2029,"
