Stormers put out Dragons' fire

CAPE TOWN - The Stormers capped a picture-perfect weekend for South African teams, by beating the Dragons at the Cape Town Stadium.

Two first-half converted tries by play-maker, Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu gave the hosts a 14-7 lead at the break.

This is after Seb Davies kept the visitors in the game with the only first-half try.

Evan Roos crossed over 8-minutes after the break before Thomas Young also got his name onto the scoresheet.

Wandisile Simelane made it 29-16 before Rio Dyer’s converted try could not do much damage, as the home team triumphed 29-21.

After the Bulls, Lions, and Sharks all secured wins over the weekend, the Cape side kept the momentum going, claiming their 10th win in 13 matches

They move to second on the URC standings, four points behind leading Glasgow Warriors.
