CAPE TOWN - It’s the second and final Test match between South Africa and Pakistan,
and the Proteas are set to hand teenage Kwena Maphaka his debut.
Maphaka will become the youngest Test debutant for South Africa at Newlands on Friday.
His Test debut comes after making his maiden appearance in the ODI, where he took
four wickets against Pakistan.
He continues to make inroads in different formats of the national men’s senior teams,
following his impressive wicket haul at the Under-19 World Cup earlier this year.
Maphaka takes the place of Dane Paterson, who took 5-61 in the first innings at Centurion Park.
Meanwhile, a thigh strain has ruled out opener Tony de Zorzi, who has been replaced by all-rounder Wiaan Mulder, while Ryan Rickelton will move to the opener position.
South Africa lead the series 1-0 after victory in Centurion.
