JOHANNESBURG - We are coming closer to the final part of the 2023 Indian Premier League with the top-four sides headed for the playoffs, starting on Tuesday.

David Miller’s Gujarat Titans will take on the Chennai Super Kings, which features a South African bowling contingent of Sisanda Magala and Dwaine Pretorius.

Magala has taken one wicket after making only two appearances so far, while Pretorius has bowled just four overs, without any wickets throughout the season.

Miller has been among the best performers for the table-topping Titans, hitting 18 fours and 13 sixes. The match will start at 4 pm, where the winner books a place in the final, while the loser gets a second chance in qualifier two.

On Wednesday, it’s the eliminator round between third and fourth-place finishers, where Lucknow Super Giants lock horns against Mumbai Indians.

Quinton de Kock will be hoping to lead his side into the second qualifier, as he sits among the top performers in the Super Giants squad.

The winner of the eliminator round will face the loser of qualifier one on Friday, to battle it out for a spot in the title decider.
