UNITED STATES - The US has clinched victory in an 11th successive Presidents Cup after seeing off the Internationals in Illinois.
However, it was no easy win for Team USA, as they needed to stage a fightback on the final day.
They headed into Sunday’s fourth round trailing by three points and looked to avoid a second defeat since the biennial competition began 32 years ago.
They dominated the singles, winning nine of the 12 matches, to seal a 17-13 win.
Cameron Young, Justin Thomas, Scottie Scheffler, Chris Gotterup, and Collin Morikawa also won.
US President Donald Trump attended as honorary chairman, greeting players and speaking before the matches began.
